Thermal & Protective Insulation

Chemical processing demands materials able to withstand and function in the harshest hostile environments. If you are producing or processing petrochemicals or inorganic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial gases, plastics, rubbers, detergents, paints, coatings, pigments, and many others, you are faced with an extreme temperature, and/or chemical, and/or mechanically challenging environments.

We offer the most diverse line of high temperature and chemically inert films, fabrics and flexible composites that allow you to produce, process and protect under extreme environments. We design and engineer material solutions that thrive in heated, chemically hostile, and mechanically challenging environments.

Application

    I. Welding Blanket

Welding Blanket is a fibreglass base fabric which is coated with our specially formulated silicone rubber. It provides greater abrasion puncture and tear resistance to our base fibreglass cloth. Welding blankets offer excellent area protection. There are blankets made for 800F max up to 3000F. Available in a variety of flame and heat resistant materials to fit a variety of applications. Our superior quality welding grade fabrics are available in 60” x 50yards standard rolls but can also be fabricated to customer specifications.

High Temperature Textiles

We offer silicone coated fiberglass fabrics in grey, tan or red and in various weight configurations like 17oz, 17.5oz, 32oz etc. per square yard. These are perfect for welding blankets, heat shields, welding curtains and most other uses for high temperature applications. Available in standard 60” x 50 yard log rolls. We can fabricate the log rolls to any widths having your application requirements in mind. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) impregnated/laminated textiles, such as fiberglass are used as processing aids in applications where temperature resistance, chemical inertness and /or release are required during the manufacturing process. Our manufacturing processing is so diverse, that we tailor, design and formulate PTFE composites to better suit each individual application in an ongoing effort to provide durability and value for our customers and their needs. Available in standard 60” x 50 yard logrolls.

HiTef Films

HiTemp offers PFA films in various width & thickness configurations starting from 1mil all the way to 16mil. FEPs (perfluoroalkoxy polymers) are widely known for their excellent dielectric properties across a wide temperature and frequency range. Known for their excellent clarity and weather resistance, FEPs have extraordinary chemical resistance and fracture resistance under high stress making them ideally suited for high performance during application as liners.. This film offers the highest continuous use temperature 260°C of any melt-processable fluoropolymer film, PFA film offers many of the performance properties of PTFE in a clear, transparent form and can be heat sealed, thermoformed, welded, metalized, or laminated to a wide variety of materials.

Our TR series is formulated and processed so as to minimize tearing if folded and to withstand creasing, therefore resulting in extended durability.
